Concrete Scanning

Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) transmits and receives electromagnetic pulses into concrete slabs and columns to survey what’s below the surface.

This type of concrete scanning is used to detect objects such as reinforcing bars, post stressed cables and conduits, as well as identifying voids and cracks.

GPR is also able to determine slab thickness and provides a graphic image of the subsurface.

Townsville Concrete Sawing & Core Drilling’s GPR is portable and can penetrate to a depth of 450mm.
